WRAP IT!

So this was my second Christmas away from home :( BUT! I had so much fun hangin with the Hansens for the holidays! It was fun to be around kids who get excited about Santa!
Before the kids go to bed, Daniel sat everyone down and they set up the nativity scene and discuss the real reason we celebrate Christmas, I think Haleigh got a little confused, but it was good...
Even Mya joined the crowd after she was done throwing all the laundry off the chair...
Christmas morning was so fun! Haleigh was STOKED.... it made me remember coming out to see what Santa had left for me!
We ALL got lots of super fun things...
I don't think Mya really understood what was going on, Daniel helped her open all of her presents and after a couple puppies and babies, she was done and had all she wanted... maybe she'll be more excited next year...
Cody and I decided (or so I thought) that since we just went to NYC and spent more than we thought we would, that we would consider that our Christmas to each other... I got him a couple little things, but the darn turd got me TWO 50 minute treatments at Green Valley Spa! I've never been to a spa before! Thanks sweetie, I can't wait!

So, the new CRAZE in St. George is our new indoor ice skating rink... ya, I'll admit, it's pretty cool and will be super fun if they stay frozen when it's 100+ degrees in mid July! Jamaica and I had lunch the other day and stopped by to check it out because we heard it FINALLY opened... we were laughing because EVERYONE was hangin on to the edges of the rink and falling... and this girl in the purple shirt... she's a natural!

All December's a Party!

This year I got to try something for the first time... We ROASTED CHESTNUTS! They smelled really good cooking and then we cracked them open and they look like little brains and I was wondering why in the world anyone would sing about 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire'... but they were pretty good and it was a fun tradition to start! Here's my roomies Lana and Colleen crackin some nuts...
Merry Christmas from 2620 East!
This past weekend Daniel and Jamaica spent the weekend in Salt Lake so I stayed with the kids, man alive they'll wear ya out, but we had a good time! Saturday I didn't know what to do and didn't just want to sit around, so we went to the Washington City Center and went swimming... it was a gamble, and I wondered if they were going to be SLAMMED... notice all the people in the background.... NOT! It was awesome! And Mya LOVED the slide! They heated the area, so it was pretty warm, but Mya's little lips kept turning blue and I'd say, 'do you want to go on the slide again?' to which she replied with a very enthusiastic 'YA!'

There's a GIANT buckets that dumps water and after each slide ride the kids would wait for it to dump so they wouldn't get drenched....
Which I thought was so funny when this is what they looked like shooting out of the slide...
don't worry Jamaica, she came up smilin from this... I promise...
Thanks guys, for wearin me out! I had a great time and I'm SO excited to spend Christmas at your house!!!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

SO, I haven't felt much of the Christmas spirit this year, ESPECIALLY after the ridiculous tax season we had this year, BUT! Nonetheless, the other day, I sucked it up and decked out our office! We regurgitated this lovely guy for the door (Jamaica helped me make him last year for the 'door contest') and everyone LOVES him and thinks he's well suited for our office's door!
And we have a very bare wall so we got a wreath 50% off at Robert's and used a few things from the tree we didn't want to put up.... PLEASE keep in mind this was my first wreath ever to decorate....
