Today's Top 3

Today's Top 3... #1 - One Fish, Two Fish. I wonder if we should tell men that most women aren't impressed by your catch of the day? I can't believe how many guys post pictures with their prize catches.... Go Bears.
#2 - A picture is worth 1,000 words....

#3 - Mr. 'Willing to learn new things'... except spelling and grammar. Attractive quality of a 52 year old man.

Today's Top 3

#1 - Check out my bass! Yes. His catch of the day is his dating website profile picture.
#2 - Mr. More Than Just Average. Between the ..... the commas, and the stellar grammar, I got confused

#3 - If I had to pick a shirt for a profile picture for a dating website, this is what I would choose too.

Today's Top 3

1 - He's 53. Last read book: Auto Repair. Celebrity look alike? Brian Mitchell (he kidnapped Elizabeth Smart in 2002)
#2 - Who knew the best light for a 'selfie' for a dating website would be in a public bathroom? That soap dispenser really brings out the color of your eyes
#3 - Always a turn on when a man ties himself to a tree and acts like a dog in the backyard... with no kids in sight. Theme song: "I Ain't Nothin' But a Hound Dog" ... with a great mustache. Thank-you, thank-you very much

Today's Top 3

#1 - Even though our common ground is that we both love dogs, I apologize, I refuse to date someone who is older than my dad, no matter how impressive your mustache is! And I find it a bit odd that your username contains both Pope and 69.
#2 - A beer belly and an iguana, it makes me weak in the knees. I think his theme song is "I'm too sexy for a shirt"

#3 - Mr. All Still Male. He hopes she's horny, and doesn't care how you spell it.

People are funny.

My dear Grandma Darlene has Alzheimer's, and there are few things after about 2007 that she remembers in great detail. Before 2007 however, it's impressive to this day the things that she does remember and with what detail. One thing I will never forget her talking about is Art Linkletter hosting a show between 1954-1960 called People Are Funny. Youtube it, the shows are quite funny. I'm not sure why I did it... I SWORE to myself that I would NEVER do it. But last week... I did it. I recently had my heart broken and quite frankly, it's still in pieces, so I'm still not sure why, perhaps I'm trying to prove that he isn't the best thing out there, or perhaps it's just a distraction of him consuming my mind. So, my confession... I joined a dating website..... Regardless of the reason for joining, what I have found in the past 4 days is truly what Art would preach daily on his show... People really are funny! Perhaps unintentionally, but I've found myself laughing hyterically every afternoon at people's posts, pictures, headlines, and descriptions and I end my day with a smile.... After all, it is said that 'laughter is the best medicine.' I have no intention of meeting a companion online, I find the idea very un-romantic. I'm a communications major and think that meeting online makes no sense. But I also don't want to knock something until I try it, so I posted a few pics, paid the dues for a 3-month trial, but nothing could prepare me for what I've found in the past 4 days since joining. It has been both enlightening and hysterical and just too good not to share. I decided to post a "Daily Top 3"... as you'll see, these may not be the Brad Pitt's of the site, but they make me smile... Just a disclaimer... if you or someone you know appears on my blog, please note, I'm not really trying to laugh at you... I'm thanking you.. for being the comical medicine my soul and broken heart requires for survival these days. So THANK YOU, just for being you... now, lets get started: TODAY'S TOP 3: (in no particular order) #1 - I think your tractor's sexy... God Bless America
#2 - his detail about himself starts, "I am a large north american mammal. I put the n in nerd otherwise it would just be erd and I don't know what a erd is..."
#3 - Oh how I love first impressions... This gentleman's email to me was short and sweet.... "I dig your profile! I think we should chat! Why? Cause you're gorgeous. That's all." Rock on. I love that you had a tie made with your portrait on it.

Before and After...

After what seemed like forever in home renovation, we finally got the kitchen done and put back together!  Between the granite guys cutting the countertop wrong, the grout guys not showing up, the grout guys putting on the wrong grout, and installing our own plumbing... needless to say, the kitchen was an experience.
We are grateful that in the end, it all worked out, and we are very happy with the results.  Rich has been talking about wanting to update his kitchen since I met him, so I'm glad it could happen and we can enjoy it for the holidays.

Happy Turkey Day!

It was a quick trip, but for Thanksgiving, Rich and I flew to St. George and hung out with the Lindells and Hansens.  It was a quick trip, but we had a lot of fun, and got to see SO many people, it was great!
12 of my old 'family' members from Intermountain Health took time from their busy schedules to meet for lunch, which was awesome!  We only worked together for 8 months, but I loved all of them and we had a lot of fun in a short time!
My old (and favorite, year to date) boss, Lance...

My southern belle mom, Milli

The rest of the team.... LOVE them all!

We got to hang out with Sunny and Deamer

And had a great time with the fam!
The kids grow so much when I don't get to see them everyday...

Jen and I introduced Rich to Black Friday shopping, Jaida gave me her cold, and Rich and I had a great evening in Vegas with our friends Matt, Karly and Harper before flying back to Dallas.
